About Nelson Nursing Services
Nelson Nursing Services Ltd (NNS) was established in 1997 by registered nurse Jill McKnight and quickly grew to fill a range of niches in health care and support, with new patient referrals doubling to more than 300 per month by 2007, and a range of contracts for A.C.C., the Ministry of Health and the Nelson Marlborough District Health Board.
Our Team
Our dynamic professional team consists of registered nurses with specialities including occupational health, pain management and ergonomics; medical specialists including physiotherapists, a neurologist, psychologist and musculoskeletal specialist, as well as our hard working home support team.

STAR Concussion Clinic

A specialist team approach which provides one-stop assessment and treatment services for mild traumatic brain injury, head injury or post-concussion problems.
STAR Chronic Pain Service

Our specialist team will provide you with a pain assessment and rehabilitation programme to help you rehabilitate and reach your full potential.
Home Based Support

NNS offers excellent quality home support, with backing from our nursing services, for people with eligibility from ACC, Support Works (Ministry of Health and Nelson Marlborough District Health Board), medical insurance and for private clients.
